Protest Held Outside US Embassy in the Philippines
As members of Gabriela protested outside the US embassy in Manila, police used batons and shields to break up the rally.
This rally called for an end to the US military presence in Asia and demanded justice for a the alleged rape of a Filipina by a US solider in Japan.
